MPA 2479: Applied AI for Public Policy
A course in the Master of Public Affairs program at the Watson Institute, Brown University. Fall 2026, Thursdays 9:00 to 11:30 am. Students do a piece of policy analysis from start to finish with an AI coding agent alongside them, following the eight steps in Bardach and Patashnik’s A Practical Guide for Policy Analysis, and then treat the regulation of AI as a policy question of its own.
